My first storyboard is drawn in the manner of a film storyboard, which would be straightforward but contain detail and provide a clear illustration of what each shot should look like. My second storyboard is drawn in the format of many animations on television channels, such as cartoon network storyboards, which is not incredibly detailed but makes the key details clear and highlights them throughout the script. Each of my storyboards has its own different drawing style and different techniques were used to create these styles.  

Storyboarding in animation is seen as more effective because in animation there are a lot of factors that storyboarding follows to make the perfect animation. Voice actors in animation use the storyboards to be aware of the tone that is needed to act out that scene from the expressions that will be drawn in the storyboards. Allowing the animators to have a better understanding and idea of what the the animation should look like.

Storyboarding is effective in all sectors of media however, it is the least effective in films because the films don't require it as much as animations and video games. Animations and video games require a lot of planned sketches for things like setting, character customisation and objects, which is used as a guide for the animator. Recently not many films have been using storyboards in production of new films.
